My review: As Tori gets familiar with her new librarian job in Sweet Briar, she finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation. Some of the people that Tori is getting to know in this small town thinks that she is the killer, and Tori gets frustrated trying to prove them wrong. But, as she is trying to figure out who the murderer is, she is also focusing on putting together a childrens room in the town’s library. The idea for the childrens room is something that she has been thinking of for a long time, and she is anxious for it to be finished, it will include murals on the wall and costumes sewn by the ladies in the Sewing Circle.
Tori enjoys getting to know the different customs and sayings in the South, and the ladies of the Sewing Circle teach her different “lessons” on learning how to understand and communicate in the ”Southern Way”.
While Tori gets to know Milo (one of the teachers in the community), they start a friendship and he helps her to figure out clues and suspects. I see the start of a romance between the two of them.
